Police members from kwaDukuza TRT and Mbongolwane SAPS were following an Information of suspects who were in Possession of unlicensed firearms.
The information led the police to Mamba area in Mbongolwane where two suspects were arrested for Possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunitions.
Recoveries are as follows; homemade firearm (riffle) and possession of ammunition
7(seven) shotgun live rounds and 9(nine) 9mm live rounds.

Both suspects appeared before Inkanyezi Magistrate Court in Eshowe this morning.
