As we speak, the North Coast Workers Forum is leading a peaceful march in Richards Bay, advocating for local employment opportunities and a clear participation policy for local businesses. The march, commenced at 08:00 this morning form ZCBF. The march is drawing attention to the challenges faced by workers and unemployed individuals in the North Coast region.

The march is being led by President Wiseman Nhlakanipho Ndlovu, who is calling on the local government and businesses to take action to promote economic inclusion and job creation. In an interview, President Ndlovu emphasized the importance of local hiring policies, support for local businesses, and investment in local infrastructure and industries.

Participants in the march are marching peacefully, holding and chanting slogans to demand economic justice and opportunity. The atmosphere is one of determination and hope, as the community comes together to make their voices heard.

The North Coast Workers Forum has been advocating for workers’ rights and social justice for many years, and this march is just one example of their ongoing efforts to create a more equitable and prosperous future for all.

We will continue to monitor the march and provide updates as the situation develops. Stay tuned for more information and to find out how you can support the efforts of the North Coast Workers Forum.
